I’m a big fan of Tiktok.

Yes I worry about the malign influence it may have on young minds.

Yes I worry that its sucks up time like Oliver Reed sucked up all the Indian Pale Ale at the Cricketers Arms.

Yes I worry that the Chinese maybe gleaning secrets about my video watching habits.

But I don’t know any other medium that has engaged creativity in such an easy and accessible way. I’ll be writing many posts about Tiktok, and what I’m learning from it. Here is a short list of benefits. I can:

  1. Practice engaging presentation skills
  2. Learn to use music to create mood and emotion
  3. Master dopamine, serotonin and oxytocin creation in your audience
  4. Receive immediate feedback on what works and what doesn’t
  5. Sharpen video and creativity skills.

Short form video, done well, is the most engaging medium today
